Dozer hit a wet weather spring and was sunk in quick sand like soil, and sank fast, past the tracks! We were literally stuck and could not proceed with any further construction for about 3 to 4 weeks. :(
See?
HA HA! Wasn't funny at the time!

Foundation
This is the foundation. Walls up, and the sill plate, rim joists, and the first of 5 girders going up. When finished, the floor system will be strong enough to drive an 18-wheeler across it! BUT, I don't think we'll do that, thank you! :) But it will certainly be strong enough for the strawbale walls, and all the windows and doors, plus all the furniture we will be throwing inside this thing! Praise God! He has been so VERY GOOD to us!
Hubby looking excited, as they are getting ready to pour the concrete footing!
Our Floor!
Window "bucks" or frames as the rest of the world calls them!
